Back to School...er, Work

Cris and Jen are getting back to work already, even though we are not scheduled to get back to work until Aug 24th. Since we are working at the same elementary we are able to carpool this year and we are so excited! We even get to help each other set up our rooms at the same place! We anticipate a challenging, but rewarding new year with Cris continuing in 1st-3rd graders with learning disabilities and Jen is changing to a classroom with 1st-3rd graders with autism. We are definitely looking forward to a schedule again, even though we will miss the long summer days. It is super hot here right now and we long for the time when it will cool down (hopefully sooner than later).

Scandinavia & Russia

I had the best time with my mom on our cruise to Scandinavia & Russia! We went to Copenhagen, Denmark; Oslo, Norway; Aarhus, Denmark; Warnemunde, Germany; Tallinn, Estonia; St. Petersburg, Russia; Helsinki, Finland; and Stockholm, Sweden. We even ran into some old friends...small world!
