Today Cris and I took Smores to Mission Bay (the nice part) on her first beach trip. She had so much fun, but hated the water!! Our nephew, Nathaniel, tried to make her go in the water, but she dug her heels in!
We also tried the Tioli's Crazy Burger place in North Park, featured on the Food Network Show, "Dinners, Drive-ins, and Dives." They feature Gator, Ostrich, Kangaroo and other crazy burgers. We took my mom and we all tried a little of the Kangaroo, Gator and Buffalo burgers. Cris said he could taste the difference, but my mom and I did not...I guess he has a more sophisticated pallet than us. :)

Very fun ! We watch the food network but I cannot remember that episode. I am glad you guys got down to spend time with your mother. It is sooooo important to visit your parents as often as you can. They need that contact.
